Introduced in 2009, it presented the first mechanical wristwatch with large, precisely jumping digital hours and minutes — a configuration long considered impractical given the energy required to instantaneously advance the discs. Reference 142.025 represents the new-generation Zeitwerk launched in 2022, executed in platinum with the rhodié dial and refined Caliber L043.6 that doubled the original's power reserve. The 41.9mm case in 950 platinum measures 12.2mm in height and frames a rhodié solid silver dial bisected by a black-rhodiumed time bridge in German silver. The manual-wind Caliber L043.6 with patented remontoir constant-force mechanism delivers 72 hours of reserve, completed by a dark brown alligator strap with platinum deployant clasp.
